Windies 4 W.I. is a contribution to West Indian cricket literature. The past few decades have been characterized by fluctuations in the team’s performance, administrative woes and an immense decrease in local fan support. I’d like to think of this blog as a “Back to the Future” analysis. One which will explore Windies from the cane fields, to the team’s performance and significance vis-à-vis independence and nationalist movements and of course, the struggles Windies now faces in the globalization process.  This is not merely a sport. This is a lesson in W.I. history.
